People assume that just because my wrist isn’t scarred, it means that I don’t self-harm.
That couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Those of us who self-harm don’t do it for attention.
Some do it for the euphoria they feel after, some do it to punish themselves, so do it because they can’t cope with the emotions they are feeling.
The main point is, you can’t judge someone who self-injures if you haven’t not been there yourself.
Don’t judge our path unless you’ve walked it.
